Founded in 2015, the MakeChange Awards is one of the leading events that honors those companies and organizations creating the most positive social, economic, and environmental sustainability impact for a better world.
Started in Los Angeles, we aspire this recognition event to expand to multiple cities across the U.S. to bring together the best of the best.

Our Committees
To join a committee to collaborate alongside others in the social impact sector, please email us with your interest!
Event Planning Committee
In this committee, you will work alongside others to handle the details of the event itself including but not limited to: 1) Volunteer Recruitment & Coordination, 2) Procurement of the MakeChange Marketplace Vendors, 3) Attendee & VIP Experience, 4) Entertainment / Program Planning, 5) Venue / Food Coordination, and 5) Audio Visual Coordination.
Sponsorship & Partnership Committee
In this committee, you will use your excellent relationship skills to develop a rapport with corporate sponsors and develop a strategy for acquiring new sponsors and deliver the promised benefits; in addition, you will engage with organizations to develop partnerships for in-kind donations, media relations and affiliate programs.
Community Engagement Committee
In this committee, you will be responsible for getting the word out about the event by being creative and understand how the media works to attract people to attend with roles including but not limited to: 1) Social Media Management, 2) Event Promotion, 3) Press Relations, 4) Communication Development and Management.
Nominations Committee
In this committee, you will outreach to nominated companies and organizations to notify them that they have been nominated to the MakeChange Awards and provide guidance to the nominees on the application process.
Review & Evaluations Committee (CLOSED)
This is a closed committee appointed by the Founding Circle Members of the MakeChange Awards.
